Solanum quitoense, known as naranjilla (Spanish pronunciation: , "little orange") in Ecuador and Panama and as lulo (, from Quechua) in Colombia, is a subtropical perennial plant from northwestern South America. The specific name for this species of nightshade means "from Quito."
